Celebrating Rakshabandhan
Raksha Bandhan is the festival symbolising the bond of love between brothers and sisters. On 29th August, students were dressed in their colourful festive best, as SKZ celebrated the festival of Rakshabandhan. The special bond between brothers and sisters was explained to the children as girls tied a Rakhis on the boys’ wrists, and in return the boys gave chocolates as a gift and promised that they would protect them. The kids exchanged sweets with each other. The festival was celebrated with joy, and enthusiasm and was enjoyed by all.
Independence Day Celebrations
Like every year, this year too, SKZ celebrated our Nation’s 77th Independence Day with pomp and great joy. On this special day, a sense of pride and happiness could be seen on the student’s and staff members’ faces. The School premises was decorated with tri-coloured Kites, Balloons and our National flag. The students came dressed as freedom fighters, national symbols and in tri-coloured attire. The toddlers presented dance performances as a gratitude to our beloved country India. Everyone enjoyed the celebrations with a sense of pride. Cries of Jai Hind, Vande Mataram and Bharat Mata Ki Jai resounded in the corridors. The teachers and students decorated the classrooms with beautiful kites and tri-coloured flagd. Teachers explained the importance of this special day to all the students.
Founders’ Day Intra School Competitions
SKZ organized a age appropriate competitions for the young tiny tots in July to celebrate the School’s 58th Founders’ Day. The children participated in the competition with enthusiasm and zest. The winners were awarded in a special function held on 1st August 2023.

Friendship Day
A friend is someone who knows the song in your heart and can sing it back to you when you have forgotten the words.
The Tiny tots of SKZ celebrated friendship Day on 4th August 2023 by creating and exchanging handmade craft friendship bands and chocolates. The children learnt about the bond of friendship and the value of nurturing relationships. It was wonderful to see little champs having fun while also gaining valuable life lessons. The kids enjoyed themselves and cherished the sweet memories they made on this noteworthy day.
