World Environment Day
A greener environment always ensures a better place for everyone. We must always strive to protect our environment and keep it clean. With this motto SKZ celebrated World Environment Day on 5th June’ 23 in an online format.
The children were asked to shoot and send a video of a Nature Walk with their parents. As part of the activity the kids were also told to recycle old materials and use their creativity to make paper bags, bird houses and many more things and paste their pictures in holiday homework assignments. The activities help them to understand the importance of Mother Earth and Recycling.
Celebrating Father’s Day
Daddy, you are strong and tall,
Stay by me and catch me whenever I fall.
Batman, Spiderman and Superman there be,
I look up to you as my Superhero to be.
I will follow your steps, wherever you go,
You are my pride, Daddy, do you know!
The little boys and girls of SKZ to make their daddies proud and paid filial respect and gratitude by celebrating Father’s Day online. The occasion turned out to be grand as kids decorated the walls for their fathers with balloons and ribbons. The kids were asked to make a video while dancing with their father. The entire occasion was touching, rejuvenating and moved many daddy dears to tears.
Celebrating International Yoga Day
The International Day of Yoga on 21st June 2023 was celebrated by the students and teachers of SKZ with great enthusiasm in an online format. The students of grade Pre- Nursery, Nursery and Prep demonstrated various yoga asanas. Warm up exercises were taken and all the students performed sitting and standing asana. The program ended with a pledge taken by all the students and teachers as well as principal to perform Yoga in day to day life. The students performed Pranayama (breath control) and other asanas were also taught to them. Regular practice of yoga will surely help our students achieve a better life, physically, mentally and spiritually as well.
