Celebrating Earth Day
Earth Day is a global opportunity to raise awareness and educate communities on environmental issues.
On the occasion of Earth Day, the teachers taught the kids about the Earth to remind the students of their duties towards ‘Mother Nature’ and some significant contributions that they could make in support of the ‘Go Green’ drive. They were advised to adopt a tree and to encourage the same; students planted their saplings in eco-friendly pots. They also did some informative activities like colouring in the picture of Earth, making a balloon impression of the Earth. The kids showed tremendous interest in understanding the concept of Saving our Earth.
Baisakhi Celebrations
The festival of Baisakhi was celebrated with gaiety and enthusiasm. The tiny tots were dressed in colourful Punjabi attire, and brought sweets with them. The beats of the Dhol brought vibrancy to the environment. The activities were consciously designed to nurture the children, the Pre-nursery toddlers participated in a crop harvesting activity. The Nursery kids filled colours in corn outlines using earbuds, and the Prep kids did coloured pasted rings in the outlines.
Welcome
10th April was the first day for our little ones for the Session 2023-24. The caring and affectionate teachers were ready to take students to explore and embark in this new year of learning. A host of activities were conducted by the energetic facilitators, involving games, poems etc. to make the newcomers relaxed and at home.
The activities commenced with an embedded positive note. Each little angel was welcomed with open arms and endearing smiles, teachers welcomed them with a Crafty Candy craft to make them feel comfortable and happy and honoured them with Crowns inscribed with the words Superstar of SKZ. It was a rocking start for the first time scholars, with their cheerful laughter resounding in the classrooms as a symbolisation of vibrancy and jubilance. The entire team of SKZ wishes each of the learners a year filled with meaningful learning, positivity and abundant fun.
