Janamashtami Celebrations

The auspicious and popular festival of Shri Krishna Janmashtami with immense joy, devotion, and enthusiasm on 19 August 2025. The entire atmosphere of the school was filled with spirituality and festivity. On this special occasion, the children came dressed as Lord Krishna, Radha ji, and Sudama ji, looking adorable and vibrant. Their colorful attire, decorated with peacock feathers, jewelry, and traditional costumes, brought the spirit of Vrindavan alive in the school campus. The celebration began with soulful bhajans and songs dedicated to Lord Krishna. The children enthusiastically sang and danced to devotional tunes, creating a divine and joyful environment. As part of the activities, the students also prepared beautiful flutes (bansuri) using craft materials, showcasing their creativity and love for Kanha ji. Another highlight of the celebration was the making of Kanha ji’s mukut (crown). The little ones designed the crowns with glitter, beads, and peacock feathers, and wore them with great pride. Their happiness and excitement reflected the true spirit of the festival. Teachers also shared stories from the life of Lord Krishna, including his childhood pranks, friendship with Sudama, and his teachings of love and righteousness. These stories not only entertained the children but also taught them important moral values like friendship, humility, devotion, and kindness. The entire celebration was a beautiful blend of tradition, devotion, and creativity, leaving a memorable impression on everyone’s hearts.

Celebrating Independence Day

Our 79th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotism at CWS. The students showcased the rich cultural diversity of India by dressing up in traditional attire from different states, including Maharashtra, Goa, Kerala, Gujarat, and more.  

The Pre-Nursery and Nursery students created tri-color hand bands, while the prep class students worked together to make beautiful tri-color flower badges. These activities not only fostered creativity but also instilled a sense of national pride.  The event was filled with joy, pride, and a sense of unity, as students came together to celebrate the spirit of freedom and diversity that defines our great nation.

Celebrating Rakshabandhan

The popular festival of Raksha Bandhan was celebrated on 8th August with great joy and enthusiasm. The day began with a short assembly where teachers explained the significance of this beautiful festival, which celebrates the bond of love and protection between brothers and sisters.

Students participated in a Rakhi Decoration Activity, using colorful ribbons, beads, sequins, and glitter to design creative and unique rakhis. The excitement continued with the Rakhi Tying Ceremony, where sisters tied rakhis on their brothers’ wrists, and brothers promised to protect and care for them.

As a token of love, a Gift Exchange was organized, where children exchanged sweets, handmade cards, and small presents with their siblings and friends. The celebration was filled with smiles, laughter, and festive spirit. This event not only encouraged creativity and cultural awareness but also strengthened the bonds of love and friendship among students.

Celebrating Friendship Day

On the joyful occasion of Friendship Day,CWS celebrated a heartwarming and cheerful event to honor the bond of friendship among students. The celebration was held on 1-08-2025 with great enthusiasm and participation from all classes. The day began with a special morning assembly where the importance of friendship was shared through short speeches, songs, and a meaningful skit was shown . Teachers also spoke about the value of kindness, trust, and support in friendships. Children exchanged handmade friendship bands and greeting cards with their classmates. Fun activities like Friendship Bracelet Making, “My Best Friend” Drawing were organized to spread positivity and smiles. The classrooms were beautifully decorated with balloons, cut-outs, and friendship quotes. Students danced, sang songs, and even shared their favorite memories with their best friends. The celebration brought joy, strengthened the bond among students, and reminded everyone that friends truly make life more special.
