Celebrating Guru Nanak Devji’s Birthday

A special assembly on Gurpurab was conducted on 29th nov2023 in SKZ (Rajouri Garden) to mark the birth anniversary of the first guru of Sikhs, Guru Nanak Devji. The assembly commenced with a morning prayer followed by the thought for the day. A mesmerizing Shabad rendered by the little kids left everyone speechless and The kids were also taught Mool Mantra. The teachers shed light on the significance of Gurpurab and various rituals associated with the festival. Kada Prasad was given to everyone as a prasad and emphasized on the importance of the teachings of the great Sikh guru in present times. A few of the boys came dressed as the Panch Pyaare and girls as Gursikh girls. Everyone enjoyed the auspicious celebrations.
