Diwali Celebration
The popular festival of Diwali was celebrated with great joy and enthusiasm at CWS. The classrooms and corridors were beautifully decorated with colourful rangolis, paper lanterns, and diyas. Students took part in various festive activities to mark the occasion. A special Diwali party was organised where everyone came dressed in traditional attire and enjoyed music, dance, and sweets. The students also participated in a diya decoration activity, showcasing their creativity with bright colours and glitter. Teachers explained the importance of celebrating Diwali in an eco-friendly way and spreading light, happiness, and kindness. The celebration filled the school with festive cheer and taught everyone the true meaning of Diwali — the victory of light over darkness and good over evil.

Celebrating Gandhi Jayanti
CWS celebrated Gandhi Jayanti with great enthusiasm, honoring the legacy of Mahatma Gandhi. Students creatively dressed up as Gandhiji, Kasturba Gandhi, and other freedom fighters, showcasing their understanding of India’s rich history. The highlight of the event was the students’ hands-on experience with the Charkha, learning the art of spinning cotton and appreciating Gandhiji’s emphasis on self-sufficiency and sustainability. This interactive session not only taught them a traditional skill but also instilled a sense of pride in our cultural heritage. The celebration was a meaningful way to introduce the younger generation to Gandhiji’s values of simplicity, truth, and non-violence, inspiring them to become responsible citizens.
