Celebrating Eid-Ul-Fitr

Festivals are perceived as an important part of education as they can help to create a sense of national and cultural unity among the students. Celebration of festivals brings students closer to traditional beliefs. Keeping this in mind, SKZ celebrated Eid-Ul-Fitr on 2nd May 2022. Eid-ul-Fitr signifies the end of fasting from dawn to dusk throughout Ramadan (Ramzan).The purpose was to enlighten the students about the spirit of this festival, spreading the message of love and brotherhood in the young minds. To celebrate the occasion the students came dressed in traditional attire. The Teachers discussed the importance of this festival that Eid is a time to share happiness. The students participated in a Head-Gear making activity based on the theme of Eid in which they also learnt to draw and colour the moon and stars. The dance performances on Qawwali music filled the environment with happiness and love. The little ones hugged and greeted each other by wishing ‘Eid Mubarak’ with affection. The celebrations were enjoyed by all.
