Dussehra Celebrations

India is known as a land of festivals and celebration, Dussehra is one such festival which is unique in its perception and significance.

SKZians celebrated Dussehra on 3 Oct 2022, commemorating the victory of good over evil with gaiety and joy. The importance and rituals associated with Dussehra was explained in detail by all the teachers. The students elegantly adorned themselves in traditional clothing and participated in a craft activity in which the children made Ravana Masks. The children also watched an animated Ramayana movie maintaining the festive mood, and learning the qualities of honesty, respect, humility, and obedience, which are central to the Indian epic, Ramayana. Some kids came dressed as Lord Rama, Ravana, Sita, it was a delight to see them enact scenes from the Ramayana. It indeed was a day filled with much excitement.

Diwali Celebrations

SKZ celebrated Diwali in the School premises on 21st Oct 22 with gaiety and joy. The toddlers of pre-primary classes came dressed as characters from the Ramayana. The teachers explained the importance of Diwali, the festival spiritually signifies the victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, good over evil, and hope over despair. A Diwali party was organised for the toddlers. Dressed in their finest party wear and they enjoyed the food, gifts, and dancing to foot tapping music. The kids also participated in Diya Decoration and Diya making activities. Both the Teachers and students enjoyed the Diwali celebrations wholeheartedly.

राश्ट्रीय एकता दिवस

वल्लभ भाई पटेल की जयंती के मौके पर राष्ट्रीय एकता दिवस मनाया जाता है। 2014 से हर साल 31 अक्टूबर को नेशनल यूनिटी दिवस या राष्ट्रीय एकता दिवस मनाया जाता है। भारत जैसा देश, जो विविधताओं से भरा है, जहां धर्म, जाति, भाषा, सभ्यता और संस्कृतियां, एकता को बनाए रखना बहुत महत्वपूर्ण है। इसलिए, राष्ट्र की एकता को स्थापित करने के लिए भारत सरकार ने 2014 में राष्ट्रीय एकता दिवस का प्रस्ताव रखा। चूंकि, सरदार पटेल भारत के एकीकरण के लिए जाने जाते हैं, हमारे विद्यालय में अध्यापकों द्वारा  राष्ट्रीय एकता दिवस का महत्व समझाया गया और छात्रो  ने  शलोक  गाएँ व  पोस्टर बनायें। राष्ट्रीय एकता दिवस लोगों को एकता का पाठ सिखाता है।सरदार वल्लभभाई पटेल को एकता की मिसाल भी कहा जाता है क्योंकि उन्होंने हमेशा देश को एकजुट करने में महत्वपूर्ण योगदान दिया था।
