Celebrating Maha Shivratri
Maha Shivaratri is known as the great night of Shiva. It is celebrated in honour of Lord Shiva. People celebrate this day by fasting, making sweets, and offering fruits and milk to Lord Shiva. The sacred chant “Om Namaha Shivaya” is chanted throughout the day. To feel the verve of the festival, Maha Shivratri was celebrated with full devotion and sanctity on 17th February. The School was decorated beautifully like a temple. The tiny tots came dressed in beautiful attires of Lord Shiva, Goddess Parvati, Lord Ganesha and Kartikay. The kids chanted God’s name with a lot of devotion. Teachers explained the ideologies behind Lord Shiva. Children danced to the music of Lord Shiva and enjoyed it to the fullest. Their faces brimmed with joy and love for the almighty. The celebrations concluded by offering heartfelt prayers to Lord Shiva by all.
