Diwali Celebrations
Diwali is a festival of lights and one of the major festivals celebrated by everyone. SKZians celebrated Diwali with myriad activities and also a dance party. The Nursery Class students made a lamp with pastel sheets and the Prep Class students decorated Earthen Lamps using different decorative materials. Students enjoyed themselves and had lots of fun.
Celebrating Children’s Day
A day marking the celebration of childhood and to make this event a memorable one for our little ones, SKZ, celebrated Children’s Day in a Virtual session. The day focused on children and their enjoyment. The day was commemorated with immense joy , enthusiasm and magnificence. The tiny tots attended the Online Session as little Chacha Nehru. The celebrations began with the Morning Prayer, followed by a variety of fun filled activities, including a drawing competition and talent hunt games. A few children also spoke about Chacha Nehru enthusiastically. The students thoroughly enjoyed the celebrations.
Gurpurab Celebrations
Guru Nanak Jayanti or Prakash Utsav is one of the most auspicious and significant days in Sikhism. The day marks the birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the founder of Sikhism and the first of the Sikh Gurus. SKZ celebrated Gurpurab with students in virtual mode with religious fervour. Some of the students were dressed as the Punj Pyare and spoke about the festival. The students along with the teachers also sang shabads to celebrate the auspicious day.
