Celebrating Lohri
Sheila’s Kids Zone celebrated the harvest festival of Lohri to mark the end of winter season with a lot of exuberance and virtual fanfare. The day began by creating awareness among the students about the significance of the most-awaited Punjabi festival. The tiny tots wore traditional Punjabi attire and presented folk songs and traditional dances associated with Lohri. The kids virtually celebrated this festival by participating in art and craft activities such as making bonfires with ice cream sticks and papers. While some offered popcorn and rewari in the crafted holy fire, others happily munched them. All the students and teachers took part in the celebrations enthusiastically. The celebration was highly appreciated by parents and students. Festivals such as these help to spread good cheer and are welcomed by one and all. It’s a nice way to welcome the new year.
Republic Day Celebrations
Our Nation’s 73rd Republic Day was virtually celebrated with great pride and patriotism with the tiny tots as they attended the online session dressed in tri-coloured attires and some as freedom fighters. The kids participated in various fun filled activities such as; making a tri-coloured Badge, Flower and Fan making activity. The kids were also informed that the Republic Day also spread the message of equality, brotherhood, unity and integrity. The highlight of the celebrations was the patriotic dance performance by the kids. The special online session ended with the National Anthem.
