Celebrating Maha Shivratri
The popular festival of Maha Shivratri was celebrated with great enthusiasm and religious fervour in a hybrid mode. The day marks the remembrance of overcoming darkness and ignorance. The students and staff members initiated the celebrations by offering prayers to Lord Shiva. Some of the tiny tots came beautifully attired as Lord Shiva, Ganesha, Kartikey and the girls as Goddess Parvati. The children danced to the tunes of Shiv Tandav. The kids depicted scenes of the marriage of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati accompanied with the chanting of hymns to venerate Lord Shiva.
